I am a stay-at-home mom who has a child that requires
the use of weighted items. With the help and support of my family, I am able to custom make weighted blankets, pads, vests

It all started about a year and a half ago when we
decided to enroll our son in the preschool program at the public school in our town. A great idea (in theory!). Once the numerous
meetings had been called with the school, we realized we had to take action. The teacher reported just about every behavior
ranging from constantly fidgeting to being disruptive at inappropriate times! This is when we sought the help from local agencies.
One in particular suggested to use of a weighted blanket or lap pad. Once we tried it, our son's behaviors and actions became
appropriate! We couldn't believe it!
So after doing some research about various weighted
items, we realized the need but also realized that with that need came a price! After really looking at the design of some
of these items, I decided to try and make a weighted vest....and then a weighted lap pad....then a weighted blanket...and
so on, until today.
Now I offer others a much needed and valuable item
at lesser prices than national catalogs and higher end companies. Be assured that you are getting a product that is 100% handmade
